This couple are transporting coal, probably to sell to kitchens who use it for cooking. Coal is a huge polluter in China, with the "haze" shrouding Shanghai every day.
On the 23rd July 2006 we left Sydney, Australia to live in Shanghai for 3 years !! We hope to share our times through these photo's, as we explore not only China but some exciting destinations in Asia. Hope you enjoy the photo's as they tell of our times in a new country !!
